Ever wanted to try your hand at the pottery wheel? Then this course is for you! Over 6 weeks you will learn everything you need to know about the fundamentals of wheel throwing! You’ll be guided by expert instructors through each stage, from mastering the basics of centring and shaping to finishing with beautiful, glazed pieces. Each week builds on the last, allowing you to grow your skills and creativity. It doesn’t matter whether you’ve used a wheel or never touched clay before – this course will take you through all the basics and intricacies, and, by the end, you’ll officially be able to call yourself a potter!
When does the course take place?
The course happens every Tuesday OR Wednesday for 6 weeks, 6:30-9 pm.
Please arrive promptly, ready to start throwing at 6:30 pm.
Please be aware that you can choose a course that runs on Tuesdays, and only Tuesdays, or you select the Wednesday course that only runs on Wednesdays.
Where is the studio?
The course is taking place at Social Pottery Making Studio 71 on Woburn Sands High Street, MK17 8QY.
