Job Overview:
Social Pottery London is looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing Studio Host to join our vibrant team. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for art and pottery, looking to create a fun and welcoming environment for our guests. As a Studio Host, you will manage customer interactions, handle bookings over the phone, and assist in hosting creative experiences for our visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Engagement:
- Welcome guests warmly and create a friendly, inviting atmosphere in the studio.
- Facilitate and host painting sessions, ensuring all guests have a positive and enjoyable experience.
- Provide guidance and basic instruction on pottery painting techniques to guests as needed.
Bookings and Reservations:
- Manage phone bookings for pottery sessions and events, ensuring accurate scheduling and communication with guests.
- Maintain an organized booking system and assist guests with any inquiries about upcoming sessions or events.
Studio Operations Support:
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of painting sessions, including preparing materials and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly studio environment, ensuring all health and safety guidelines are followed.
- Support with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospitality role, such as in a bar, restaurant, or hotel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and engaging personality.
- Weekend availability is required; ability to work flexible hours.
- Basic knowledge or background in art is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a positive attitude in a lively environment.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to the studio’s needs; a one-day training session will be provided.
