Pottery Making Taster Class : Hand building & Wheel Throwing

All lessons must be scheduled and paid for in advance through our online booking system in the 'book now' section. Please do not bring additional attendees without prior notification. If you are unable to attend your lesson, please email support@socialpottery.com to reschedule or request a refund. Vouchers issued after April 2022 will include a code for redemption in our online booking system.

Our introductory throwing sessions are in high demand with limited spots per class. Secure your place with full payment upon booking confirmation. To cancel or reschedule, kindly provide at least 72 hours notice for a full refund or rescheduling options. Failure to notify within this timeframe will result in forfeiting your session without a refund or reschedule.

Regarding our extended 4-week courses, please inform us if you cannot attend a particular session. Regrettably, we cannot accommodate rescheduling for missed classes.

Please arrive on time or notify us if you will be late. If you arrive within 20 minutes of the start time, you may still participate in the class, but it will need to finish within the allocated time slot. If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, we will be unable to

Pieces will be ready for collection within three weeks of your lesson, to arrange pickup from our Studio at 120 Kentish Town Road, NW1 9PY . Customers have an eight-week window from the initial collection notice to retrieve their pottery. After ten weeks, uncollected items will be donated unless we hear back from you. We do not have the storage space for forgotten pots.

In the event that your pottery breaks or sustains any damage during the glazing and firing process, we will do our best to provide a replacement or offer compensation in the form of a voucher. Please note that handmade pottery may experience cracks or explosions in the kiln, and painted ready-made pottery may have surface imperfections or glaze spotting. We make every effort to prevent these issues, but ceramics can be unpredictable and these events may occur despite our efforts. We appreciate your understanding and hope you continue to enjoy the creative journey with us.

All bookings for painting and glazing services must be made through our website: https://socialpottery.com/pages/136-kentish-town-booking. The cost of these services is £10 per hour. A deposit of £5 is required to secure your booking. Payment for the remaining balance is due upon completion of the services.
