Part TimeStudio 150Studio AssistantTraining provided

Studio Assistants are the heart of Social Pottery, ensuring every guest feels welcome, supported, and inspired throughout their experience. We are looking for a Studio Assistant to join our Woburn Sands, Milton Keynes studio and support the day-to-day running of the space. Customer-facing experience is essential, and reliability is a must. Hospitality experience is welcome, and barista experience would be a bonus, but is not essential. You don’t need to have a background in ceramics, as full training will be provided. What’s important is a practical mindset, a positive attitude, a welcoming smile and a hands-on approach.
This is a varied, fast-paced role involving lots of direct customer interaction and communication, alongside the daily running of the studio. Tasks range from welcoming and helping customers, managing emails and phone calls, and supporting bookings, to practical studio work and keeping everything clean, organised, and welcoming. You’ll need to be confident communicating with customers and able to think on your feet when things don’t quite go to plan. We are committed to supporting our team to learn, grow, and develop new skills. In return, we expect reliability, commitment, enthusiasm, and pride in your role, so you can enjoy working with us as much as we enjoy having you on the team.
Candidates are expected to:

● Be based locally to Woburn Sands / Milton Keynes

● Have previous customer-facing or customer service experience

● Be reliable and dependable

● Have flexibility in working hours

● Be available for regular weekly shifts, including at least one weekend day

● Be professional, friendly, patient, and kind

● Be confident communicating with customers

● Be practical, hands-on, and happy to get stuck into all aspects of studio life

● Hospitality and/or Barista experience is welcome but not essential

● A knowledge or interest in ceramics is welcome, but not required
Full training will be provided in our studio-specific practices, ceramics, and customer service approach. You’ll also have the opportunity to bring your own creativity and personality into the role. If this sounds like an exciting opportunity, please send an application including your CV and a short statement explaining why you would be a good fit for the role.
