COURSE

6-Week Improvers Wheel Course (L2)

at Studio 221 · Camden Town, NW1

Already thrown before? Level 2 refines your shapes, trimming and finishing over six focused weeks.

Ready to take your throwing further? Our six-week Improvers course (Level 2) follows on directly from the beginner course — more advanced techniques, applied to larger balls of clay, in the same focused studio setting.

This course is only for potters who have completed our 6-week beginner course (Level 1). If you haven’t completed it yet, start there.

Over the six weeks you'll refine your shapes, sharpen your trimming and finishing, and grow the consistency that turns single good pots into a matching set — leaving with pieces that show how far you've come since Level 1.

Course details

  • Duration: six weekly classes of 2.5 hours at Studio 221, our dedicated making studio in Camden

  • Cost: £270, with all materials and firing included

  • Prerequisite: our 6-week beginner wheel course (Level 1)

  • Days: weekly groups — day options at booking

Good to know

Your finished pieces are ready for collection two to three weeks after the last class, and we hold them for 30 days once we let you know they're ready.

Me and my friend had a great experience at Social Pottery Making. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable even as beginners. The painting session was fun. All the staff are lovely and welcoming. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested.

Social Pottery helped us organize a beautiful pottery painting workshop for 30 students! Everyone had a great time. Chloe was especially helpful through the process, and extremely accommodating to all our requests! A must do for anyone looking for a nice decompression workshop!

KADRA made us feel so welcomed and gave us a tutorial at the beginning. She kept on checking up on us too. I ordered a hot chocolate with oat milk and it was really nice. Overall wholesome vibe 😊. Will 100% recommend this to friends and will come again🙌🏾🥳
