A guided beginner wheel session at our Balham studio.
Welcome to our Balham Studio Wheel Fun-damentals & Building Class! Get ready to unleash your creativity in this 2-hour session where you’ll dive into the exciting world of crafting bowls and cylinders. Spend 2 hour at the potter’s wheel. Our super friendly and experienced tutor will be there to guide you through every spin!
Expect to create approximately 2-4 dazzling pieces during this class. It’s a blast for beginners! Plus, it’s a group affair with a maximum of 8 fellow pottery enthusiasts. Bring a buddy along or come solo to mingle with new friends who share your love for clay and creativity.
What’s included:
Instruction by a professional potter
2 hours of guided learning and making
By the end of the taster class, you will have at least 2 masterpieces made by you
Option to just enjoy the experience of the making process for £50 and if you would like to decorate and glaze, there is an extra fee (£10ph)
Pick up your item(s) in 2–3 weeks; we keep it for another 30 days.

Social Pottery helped us organize a beautiful pottery painting workshop for 30 students! Everyone had a great time. Chloe was especially helpful through the process, and extremely accommodating to all our requests! A must do for anyone looking for a nice decompression workshop!
KADRA made us feel so welcomed and gave us a tutorial at the beginning. She kept on checking up on us too. I ordered a hot chocolate with oat milk and it was really nice. Overall wholesome vibe 😊. Will 100% recommend this to friends and will come again🙌🏾🥳

Came here twice in the space of two weeks!!! Just shows how much I love this place , the staff are all incredible and so friendly I couldn’t recommend enough!! Made sure we had everything we needed and I had such great conversations with some will definitely see me again soon!
