Refund Policy
Last updated: 6 October 2026
This page sums up when Social Pottery Painting Ltd (company number 10950533) gives refunds. The full rules, including notice periods, are in our Cancellation Policy. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.
When we refund
- Wheel, hand-building classes and workshops: a full refund if you cancel at least 7 days before your session.
- If we cancel a session: a full refund or a new date, whichever you prefer.
- Painted pottery that breaks in the kiln or goes astray: usually a refund, or a voucher to come back and paint another piece.
- Pieces made in a wheel or hand-building class that break in firing: we refund the firing. The class itself is not refundable, because you have attended it and had the teaching.
When we do not refund
- Cancellations made after the notice period for your session, and no-shows.
- The 50% booking fee for corporate and private events.
- Gift cards. They are non-refundable but freely transferable, and valid for 12 months from purchase. If something has happened that makes yours impossible to use, please get in touch.
- Breakage in the post, when you have asked us to send your pottery to you.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method and take 3 to 5 days to process.
