FAQ's
How do I book an experience at your studio?
To book an experience at our studio, you can use our online booking system. Simply choose the location and type of experience you’d like to book, such as pottery painting – daytime , sip & paint or late night pottery, and follow the prompts to complete your booking. In most cases, a small deposit will be required to secure your booking, for BYOB sessions, we request £5 studio fee non refundable but for throwing, parties, and evening classes, the full payment will usually be required.
What is pottery painting?
Pottery painting is where you choose a bisque and paint it. After that, we glaze it and finish it off in our kiln. Then it’s yours to keep! Just to make sure we’re on the same page, you won’t be getting behind the pottery wheel during your visit – the bisque is already made. You’re in charge of the painting!
How much are the pottery items?
We ask you to ‘pay for what you paint’. This means you’ll pay for whichever bisque you choose from our selection of more than 300. All prices included paints, firing and VAT.
How do I pay?
You can pay for your booking over the phone or online. If you add extras on the day, we take cash or card in store.
Do we have wheelchair Accessibility
We’re pleased to announce that all our SocialPottery studios are fully accessible for wheelchair users. Our spaces are designed to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone.

What is the studio Pet-Friendly Policy?
Your furry friends are more than welcome at our SocialPottery studios. We pride ourselves on being a pet-friendly space, so you can bring your pets along for a creative day out.

How can I use my giftcard?
How do I Reschedule a Book Collection?
To book an experience at our studio, you can use our online booking system. Are there any age restrictions?
- During daytime hours, there are no age restrictions, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
- At Social Pottery, our night classes are for adults and maintain an adult atmosphere where alcohol is consumed. As a result, guests must be 12 or older to attend. Guests aged 13 to 17 may attend with a guardian, and those 18 or older are welcome to join. All participants must be registered for the event.
Cancellation Policy for Pottery Painting:
Can you come to me?
Yes, as long as you’re a group of 10 or more. This costs a little extra, so email us and we’ll work out the details. You might also like to check out our virtual options.
Do you do discounts for charities?
Absolutely! Drop us a line at [email protected] and we’ll see what we can do for you.
When can I collect my items?
Your pottery will be ready 14 days after your painting session, and you will have 30 additional days to pick it up. No email or call reminders will be sent. If you need more time to collect your pottery, please contact [email protected]. Any uncollected pottery will be donated to a local charity.
What happens if my item is damaged at Social Pottery?
Food and Alchol Terms
- Please check individual event for food/alcohol details. Guests are expected to drink responsibly.
- Guests must be at least 18 to consume alcohol at our event(s). We reserve the right to request ID from any guest drinking alcohol.
- Max 750ML per two people
Can we bring alcoholic drinks?
As long as you’ve booked onto a sip & paint pottery session and you’re over 18. BYOB means bring your own booze and we’re happy for you bring nibbles too. We’re here to help you relax and have fun, but please remember we’ve a mix of parties, families and creatives who come to unwind at the studio – so we ask you not to get too wild!
