At this session you will be taught the basics of hand building clay, including coiling and slab-building. You will also have the opportunity to learn how to throw/sculpt ceramic pieces on the potter's-wheel.
Come along and experience the joy of creating your own pottery!At Social Pottery all our sessions are designed to be fun, chilled and creative!We believe in the power of art and its ability to relieve stress, encourage creative thinking and bring people together.This session is open to absolute beginners but all abilities are welcome!
What is included:
Instruction by a professional potter
2h of guided learning and making
Your own sculpting tool kit with all the tools you should need to get started
By the end od the taster class you will have 2 masterpieces made by you ( one thrown on the wheel and another one hand build)
Once you have created your pieces, we will fire them in our kiln and ready for collection
You can come and pick up your item(s) 3 weeks of your event day

How It Works

Book, turn up and get settled in

Choose something to paint from more than 300 bisques (that’s what we call pottery before it’s been decorated)

Unwind and get creative using our top quality paint and tools

Leave your creation with us to finish off in our kiln. It’ll be ready to collect in 10 days.
